What the modification does

EGR removal, also called EGR delete, is a software-based ECU remap that removes the exhaust gas recirculation system from the engine's operating parameters. Both terms refer to the same service, regardless of which was searched. The valve stays physically in place. The ECU is remapped so it no longer sends commands to the valve and no longer logs fault codes when the valve fails to respond.

The remap goes in through the OBD port. We read the current fault codes first, write the modified map, verify that it is holding correctly, then clear all EGR-related codes. The process takes around 60 to 90 minutes. No parts are ordered, no garage slot is needed, and the vehicle does not have to move from where it is parked.
