What we do, and how it works
An EGR delete is a software operation. We connect to your vehicle's ECU and remap the engine management so the EGR valve is disabled in the software. The valve stays where it is, nothing is unbolted, nothing is physically removed. The engine simply stops using it.
This matters because the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve is one of the most common failure points on diesel engines. When it starts to fail, or has already failed, it causes rough running, limp mode, loss of power and excessive smoke. Cleaning or replacing the valve addresses the symptom. A software delete addresses the root cause.
Because the whole process is done through the OBD port, it typically takes 60 to 90 minutes at your location. No garage. No booking a courtesy car. No waiting room.
