What the service is
The EGR delete is a software modification, nothing is physically removed from the engine. We connect through the OBD diagnostic port inside the cabin, read the existing ECU map, and write a modified version that removes the EGR system from the engine's operating logic. The valve stays in place. No bolts are touched, no gaskets disturbed, no corroded fixings to deal with.
Once the remap is done, the ECU stops monitoring and commanding the EGR valve. Fault codes associated with the EGR system are cleared and do not return. The modification is permanent.
