Nissan EGR delete
Navaras on farms and sites, NV400 tippers on the tip run, NV300s on multi-drop. The use that fouls a Nissan's EGR is the use we come out to. Mobile software delete at your yard, depot or home, £220.
Call 0161 694 7331 with the reg and we will confirm the engine and a time.

How Nissan vans and pickups get used
The Nissans we get called to are working vehicles. The Navara is the farm and site pickup: stock trailer on the back, tool chest in the bed, a week of gateways, field tracks and short hops between yard and job. The NV400 does tipper and Luton duty for builders and removal firms, and the NV300 runs the trade and courier rounds that used to belong to the Primastar. Between them a typical week is a long list of cold starts, tail-lift idling, low-speed running under load and very little time at a steady 60 on a dual carriageway.
That is the pattern the EGR system copes with worst. Recirculated exhaust carries soot, and soot only burns off when the intake stays hot for a sustained stretch. Short runs and idling never get it there, so carbon builds on the valve until it stops seating, and the cooler behind it clogs and, with age, starts to weep coolant. Plenty of these vehicles also spend part of the week off the road altogether: housing developments, farm tracks, quarry haul roads, plant compounds. That is the use this service exists for.
What changes after the delete
The ECU stops commanding the EGR valve, so a valve stuck with carbon can no longer put the vehicle into limp mode or store a P0400-series code. The EGR circuit is closed in software, so exhaust gas stops passing through the cooler and the route by which a cracked cooler pushes coolant into the intake is shut. There is no repeat valve bill, because the valve is no longer in use, and nothing comes off the engine. The vehicle stays where it is parked, the remap takes about an hour, and it is back on the job the same afternoon with fuelling, boost and torque exactly as Nissan set them.
Nissan models and engines we cover
Most Nissan diesels sold here are Renault engines under a Nissan badge, so the faults and the fix match across both ranges. The Renault EGR delete hub covers the sister vans, and the Vauxhall Vivaro and Movano sit on the same platforms.
Navara (D40 and NP300 D23), 2.5 dCi YD25 and 3.0 V6 dCi V9X, then 2.3 dCi M9T, 2005 to 2021. The YD25 fouls its valve and cooler with heavy intake carbon; the M9T in the NP300 sticks its valve and is the Navara EGR fault most owners search for; the V6's cooler record is thinner. See Nissan Navara EGR delete.
NV300 (X82), 1.6 dCi R9M 2016 to 2019, then 2.0 dCi M9R 2019 to 2021. The twin-turbo R9M sticks its valve at relatively low mileage, the same as the Trafic Mk3 and Vivaro B it shares a body with. See Nissan NV300 EGR delete.
NV400 (X62), 2.3 dCi M9T single and twin turbo, 2011 to 2022. Valve sticking and cooler faults, identical to the Master Mk3 and Movano B built alongside it. See Nissan NV400 EGR delete.
NV200, Qashqai, Juke, X-Trail and Primastar: K9K 1.5 dCi, R9M 1.6 dCi and M9R 2.0 dCi, 2006 onward. The K9K's valve carbon is one of the best-documented EGR faults on any small diesel; the M9R sticks its valve and its cooler goes with age. No model pages for these yet; we confirm from the reg.
Every engine above is £220. If yours is not listed, call 0161 694 7331 with the reg and we will check it.
More than one Nissan
Run three NV400s and a Navara? We do all four in one visit, at the yard or depot, worked around the shift pattern so the vehicles go out as normal. £220 per vehicle, no call-out charge on top, and each one is off the job for about an hour. Send us the reg for every vehicle beforehand and we confirm the ECU type on each before we set off, so nothing holds up the day.
