How the modification works
EGR removal is a software remap of the vehicle's ECU. We connect to the OBD port, load a modified map that removes the EGR system from the engine's operating instructions, and the ECU stops commanding the valve. The valve itself stays physically in place, nothing is unbolted, nothing is taken out.
